Scrap Metal Purchase and Sorting

Scrap price follows grade and cleanliness. Copper cable is worth far more with the insulation stripped; aluminium profile moves up a class once gaskets and screws are removed. A few separate boxes on site therefore make a real difference against one undifferentiated heap.

Process

Material is inspected on site and roughly separated by grade. Loading is by cage, container or crane truck. After weighbridge weighing and detailed sorting at the plant, a reconciliation table is shared.

Why the price is better in this region

The Osmaniye–İskenderun corridor is where Türkiye's electric arc steel production is concentrated. Scrap does not pass from broker to broker; it goes to a plant a few hours away. Because that cuts haulage cost, it directly affects the figure we can offer per tonne — the difference is most visible on bulky, low unit-value items such as iron and sheet offcuts.

Dismantling work

Where machinery, tanks, roof sheeting or production lines have to be removed, cutting and haulage are included; the safety plan and timeline are agreed before work starts.
