Quality and Environmental Policy

In recycling, quality is measured in two places: in the analysis result of the output, and in the records the work leaves behind. We treat both with the same seriousness.

Legal compliance

Our activities are carried out under environmental law and its associated regulations. The licences and permits required for collection, transport and processing are held; our vehicles are equipped for dangerous goods and operated by certified drivers.

Traceability

Every batch entering the plant is weighed, recorded and linked to its source. Output is tracked the same way, by batch number. It is therefore possible to trace back which inputs a batch of base oil came from, or which material a batch of granulate was produced from.

Product control

• Base oil — viscosity, flash point, water content, total acid number
• Granulate — melt flow index, moisture, density, visual inspection
• Metal — grade verification and, where required, spectrometer measurement

Measurement results are attached to the shipping document; a non-conforming batch is not dispatched.

Environment and occupational safety

The facility has sealed flooring, secondary containment, separated rainwater drainage and an emergency response kit. Staff receive regular training on chemical exposure, personal protective equipment and emergency procedures. The steps to follow in a spill are written down and tested in drills.

Continuous improvement

Complaints, non-conformities and field observations are recorded; recurring issues get a permanent countermeasure. The aim is that the same mistake does not happen twice.
